Autonomous UAV
Designed and built a UAV for the TÜBİTAK UAV Turkey contest that completed its mission tasks on its own. Led the project as IEEE Bilkent Vice Chair.
Mehmet Oğuzhan Tor Requirements & Systems Engineer · RF and signal processing I'm an electrical engineer based in Munich. I write the requirements behind secure radio systems at Rohde & Schwarz, with a background in RF testing, digital signal processing and unmanned aircraft.

Recognises spoken digits in real time, with the signal processing written in VHDL on a BASYS3 board.
An instrument you play without touching it: an ultrasonic sensor sets the pitch, an FPGA makes the sound.
Home automation on a Raspberry Pi, controlled from a custom Android app.
Breaking system requirements for a secure software-defined radio down into clear, testable requirements, and tracing each one to how it will be verified.
Brought up and validated RF subsystems for 2G to 5G cellular standards. Debugged HW/SW issues and automated regression tests in Python.
Moved to Germany, studied German and kept building programming and data-analysis projects.
Designed HF/VHF/UHF communication systems, built FSK/PSK demodulators, classified radar signals, and worked on UAV flight control.
Hardware optimisation in R&D, and operating MPLS and DSLAM transmission systems.
Taught entirely in English.
